FFB WK 4 Recap: Huge Implications for MNF

Defending Champions Freaky Deaky hold a slim 131 to 129 edge over the Wolf Pack thanks to big games from Peyton Manning (46), Jason Campbell (34) and Vincent Jackson (17). Deaky owner Brett Miles probably has too many skill position players for his own good as he left Percy Harvin's 29 pts on the bench and opted instead to go with Ryan Grant, Larry Fitzgerald, Santonio Holmes and John Carlson (19 combined pts). Hungry, homeless and depressed, the Wolf Pack is desperate for a win this at some point this season. Good games from Kurt Warner (20) and MJD (40) and solid contributions from Donald Driver and David Gerrard (32 total) will make that first elusive win ever so possible. Shelton did leave some points on the bench with Julius Jones and Anquan Boldin but with Steve Smith left against Freak Deaky's John Casey, we like the Pack to get into the win column tonight, finally.

After publicly ridiculing Cobra Kai owner David Rambie for publicly ridiculing his selection of Matt Ryan, Wreckless Hearts owner Dan Harris is still looking for someone to remove his foot from his mouth. Harris is somehow 2-0 with an atrocious situation at QB, getting a combined 12 pts from Ryan and Trent Edwards. "Oh, a phong is ringin?" Harris should be hitting the roladex this week looking for an answer, I hear there's a monster brewing in Detroit.

Team Awesome received another large contribution from 2nd year QB Joe Flacco and his 28 points but trails the Wreckless Hearts by 22 pts with DeAngelo Williams and Jake Delhomme in the line-up tonight. Give me the Wreckless Hearts by a point.

The morale around Team Hughes is at an all-time low after losing 188-187 to Chaos Theory last week. In an 0-2 hole but with talent all around them, the fan base is picketing the stadium and demanding answers. With 27 more points from Brett Farve, 31 from the Viking defense and 19 from Duke's of Hazzard star Johnny Knox, Hughes is looking good headed into the MNF game. Newcomer Rory Dowling has Tony Romo going tonight but it's going to take 36 pts from QB to get a win. I think Dallas pounds the ball, Romo is a game manager and Hughes gets a much needed win.

In the last game with MNF implications, the Cobra Kai takes on the Heavy Hangers. Kai jumped out to a big lead behind 40 pts from Kevin Kolb but the Heavy Hangers responded with 40 pts from Cutler and Palmer in the afternoon games. The Heavy Hangers currently hold a 17 pt lead on the Cobra Kai but Rambie has Felix Jones, Tashard Choice and Jason Whitten left to play. Give me the Kai to say undefeated.

In other news, Team Reilly remains undefeated with a win over the hapless Sideline Princess and the Bromigos, perhaps inspired by owner Marshall Smith's Ring of Honor induction at Highlander Stadium, rallied to defeat Chaos Theory and stay atop the standings.
