League Statistician

Being the one in charge of keeping stats for the league, I thought I would throw some stats together today for your viewing enjoyment. With two games to go before playoffs, there are 4 teams guaranteed playoff spots. That leaves 7 teams fighting for the last 4 spots. Needless to say, this week and next week are critical for those 7 teams. One team, SA Squid Roe, sorry, but you are out.

The average number of PF and PA for each time for the year is 1295, which averages out to about 118 points per game.

On the high end, Rambie averages 144 per week PF. On the low end, Asher averages 102 in PF.

Now talking about Points Against, the most (average of 127) award goes to Asher. Wow, talk about being in the worst of both worlds! This would be why he is eliminated at this point. For the least amount of Points Against, T Hughes gets the FREE PASS award with only 1169 (average of 106) points scored against him all year.

The point differential is as follows. This should be obvious, but BIG POSITIVE NUMBERS here are key. If you are in the negatives, chances are you ain't doing too hot this year. There's always next year.

This basically tells us that Rambie is kicking more ass, more than Asher is sucking ass, but not by much. Also interesting to note, that in standings Denton is currently ahead of Hangers, Frog, Silky, and SA, while being tied with Danna, even with his point differential at -189. Therefore, Denton gets the LUCKY DUCK award. But, when it all shakes out, he may not make the playoffs, and therefore would turn into the DEAD DUCK award.

Also, I got bored and thought I would share with you the most dominant possible fantasy football year from the 1998 season, 10 years ago! Here it is, surprising that some of the names are still dominating this year.
