MNF Preview

Well...good for Vittetoe, finally getting a win with that rag tag group led by the 'Truth'...JT O'Sullivan. After bitching and moaning about fantasy indifference all week, the league commish finally scratched his uncontrollable itch to obtain a running back...somehow managing to trade a star WR for an injured Willie Parker. When asked why he was not trading with Vittetoe, TX Torpedoes owner Danny Brosseau replied, "why would I trade with that guy? I have a loaded team with depth at every position, plus he always gets the good free agent pickups anyway. Screw that guy."

Brosseau then traded Eddie Royal to the Heavy Hangers for Carson "Tommy John" Palmer. Yeah...that makes sense.

Team Hughes disposed of Team Awesome to improve to 4-1. Tucker manages to "just win baby" with two talented backs in Bush and Jacobs. Rider had a decent game from Steve Slaton, but Tucker received a HUGE boost when the Panthers D shut out the Chiefs.

Unless Lance Moore can put up 40 pts tonight, it looks like Call Me Adam is going to be 4-1 as well. A big game against the Eagles helped Clinton Portis roll up 26 bones in an upset win over the Eagles. While it wasn't his best preformance, Shelton had an easy win as Asher's squad failed to show up, getting 26 pts from Brandon Marshall, Marion Barber, Julius Jones, Chris Chambers and Kevin Boss...combined. Ouch.

Finally getting his user password correct, Team Frog Killer owner Beau Brooks managed to field a competitive team this weekend. Matt Ryan and Roddy White have shown good chemistry to start the year, but Brosseau looks to be headed to 4-1 behind a strong FFB game from Aaron Rodgers.

After waking up in a pool of Wild Turkey sweat in a bodybag somewhere near Port Arthur, Will Denton realized his worst nightmare...Matt Schaub was sick and by the time he had cell phone service, Team Choas was down 90 pts. Rambie will improve to 4-1 and currently has the top scoring team in football. DP Josh Wilson proved to be a great waiver wire pick-up, piling on 22.5 pts against the Giants. While Denton still has Deuce McCallister to go, who are we kidding here?

In the most fascinating game of the weekend, Danna Montana holds a 31 pt lead over Trey Fly's Heavy Hangers. Dan likes to light a Marlboro, cut his toe nails and listen to "One Shining Moment", remembering fondly his one victory of the season over the Cobra Kai. He might make it # 2 tonight, but Fly has Drew Brees going and we all know 32 pts is quite attainable.

PREDICTION:

24-21 Vikings
