FFL Members:

We now have 14 members and that is a majority to me so we are going to take a couple votes on the set up.

Assuming we get 20 members should we require $50/person commitment or $100/person commitment (I am going to open an account and put the money in it to pay for the trophy at the end of the year and pay for the set up costs of the league) The money will probably be frozen as a 6-month CD at the prevailing rate. I want the league to be transparent.
A $50/commitment results in the following payouts
i. $600 First place
ii. $200 Second place
iii. $200 Division winner pay outs (4 divisions @ $50)
A $100 commitment results in the following payouts
i. $1000 First Place
ii. $600 Second Place
iii. $400 Division Winner Payouts (4 divisions @ $100)
We need come up with a League Name (I am going to open up a blogger where we can have a better open forum and not get blocked by the office spam)
Because we might have 20 members I want to propose the following system:

1 QB
1 RB
1 RB/WR
2 WR
1 TE
1 OP (Offensive Player-QB, RB, WR, or TE)
1 DP (Defensive Player)
1 D/ST
1 PK

The bench will have 6 spots. We will field 16 man rosters.

There will be 12 Playoff Teams and 8 Non-Playoff Teams (Each will continue to play until the end of the playoffs)
Wild-Card Round will consist of the eight best records after the 4 division winners
Division Winners will get a bye and their entry money back.
There are no conferences just divisions so seeding is based on best overall record. Of course there are tie-breakers but I don’t want to get into that now.

This is work for me and should not be work for you-you are participants and I want this league to be fun. I have been in some good leagues before and some bad ones and it can get really ugly if they are bad.

I am the commissioner but I will not be a jerk…I will be the commissioner until the league ends. I am fair and not biased. We will vote on most things, but I will have the final say…there are no Pac-Man Jones appeals.
